KSU cheerleaders take a knee during national anthem

It’s been two weeks since several Kennesaw State University cheerleaders took a knee to protest police brutality during the national anthem before a football game, the next game the cheerleaders were not allowed on the field.  The school’s Department of Athletics released a statement detailing several changes but did not say if the cheerleaders protest has something to do with those changes.

Evander Holyfield is fighting street violence with a new program called “Knuckle Up, Guns Down”, he says boxing help direct his path.

Evander Holyfield is working to put boxing rings in the Boys and Girls Club all over Georgia.

 

At least 11 dead as fires rage in Northern California

In California at least 11 people are dead after fast moving wild fires burned through Northern & Southern California at last check 20 major fires are burning through the state out of control, the fires have already burned 70,000 acres and destroyed 1,500 buildings.
