President Donald Trump and Republicans continue to push to get rid of Obamacare. Concerns about preexisting conditions have been the biggest argument against the repeal, but keep in mind if the Republicans bill passes there will also be deep cuts to Medicaid which effect the elderly and disable. The congressional budget office estimates that the Republican healthcare plan will cut Medicaid by 880 billion over 10 years.
DeKalb Sheriff public indecency in Piedmont Park
DeKalb Sheriff Jeffrey Mann is out of jail on bond this morning after he was arrested this weekend for allegedly exposing himself in Piedmont Park. Sheriff Mann has issed a statement stating that he is working with Atlanta police to clear the charges.

Florida Memorial University honors Trayvon Martin
Florida University is honoring Trayvon Martin with a posthumous bachelor of science degree in aeronautical science with a concentration in flight education. Florida Memorial University is saluting Trayvon and his parents Sabrina Fulton who graduated from the University with a English degree and Tracy Martin will accept the award for their son. The two have turned to advocacy work for victims of violence and their families, establishing the Trayvon Martin Foundation a social justice organization with headquarters on the campus.
